Startup Atlanta announces the 7th Annual Atlanta Startup Awards

Startup Atlanta, Atlanta’s community non-profit dedicated to convening and connecting the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, is proud to announce the return of the Atlanta Startup Awards. Now in its seventh year, the 2025 Awards will be returning to TSQ ATL on Thursday, October 9th to once again anchor the energy of InnovATL.
This year marked the most competitive selection process to date, with nearly 250 nominations submitted across nine categories. After a record-breaking response and rigorous review, Startup Atlanta is proud to introduce the top 45 finalists who represent the boldest, most impactful startups, founders, and ecosystem leaders shaping the future of our city.
Presenting our 2025 Atlanta Startup Awards Finalists listed alphabetically by Awards Category:
1. Best B2B Startup
The “Best B2B Startup” Category recognizes trailblazing startups that have revolutionized business solutions with groundbreaking products and remarkable milestones over the past 12 months.
4Earth Inc.: 4Earth is building advanced water treatment and reuse technology for industries and mission critical infrastructure.
Airia: Airia is an AI Orchestration and Security Platform, empowering organizations to securely build, deploy, and manage AI solutions at scale.
Art Pharmacy: Art Pharmacy works with healthcare, education, and workforce management partners to address the dual mental health and loneliness crises through social prescribing.
SparkyAI: SparkyAI! is pioneering a new category of martech by fusing Behavioral Science with Generative AI.
Voxie: Voxie is the only SMS marketing platform purpose-built for franchise and multi-location brands, enabling personalized, compliant customer engagement at national scale.
2. Best B2C Startup
The “Best B2C Startup” Category honors stellar startups that have captivated consumers with innovative products and significant achievements in the last 12 months.
Brown Toy Box: Brown Toy Box is on a mission to cultivate curiosity, celebrate culture, and make STEAM inclusive, accessible, and fun for children and their families.
LZRD Tech, Inc.: LZRD Tech designs patented, grip-enhancing compression apparel that elevates performance, protection, and safety for athletes and active workers.
SWITCH: SWITCH is a Techstars-backed, voice-first dating platform reimagining online connection for high-intent singles—particularly underserved Black and POC communities.
The Chai Box: The Chai Box is a sustainable and ethnically sourced small-batch chai company offering loose leaf tea blends and chai concentrate.
The Perlant: The Perlant is a private social club rooted in wine.
3. Best Startup for Good
The “Best Startup for Good” Category celebrates mission-driven startups, for-profit or non-profit, that have made a profound social impact on the Atlanta community and beyond over the past 12 months.
Bee Downtown: Bee Downtown installs and maintains beehives on corporate campuses to help rebuild sustainable agriculture in cities while simultaneously providing year-round employee engagement and leadership development training to America's leading corporations including companies like Delta, Invesco, Cox Enterprises, Georgia Power, Porsche, GWCC, and more!
GenAI Healthcare Inc: GenAI Healthcare is an AI-driven health management platform that delivers personalized health insights, wellness recommendations, and continuous monitoring to each and every individual within the organization.
Global Paint for Charity: Global Paint for Charity (GPC) is the world’s first sustainable paint waste management company and the largest provider and exporter of recycled latex paint to underserved communities worldwide.

Nourish and Bloom Technologies: Nourish + Bloom Technologies is a leading provider of AI-powered autonomous retail solutions, specializing in frictionless checkout and innovative smart store technology.

6. Best On-Campus Startup
The “Best On-Campus Startup” Category celebrates the best on-campus startups, including student-founded companies and commercialization and research companies, at any of metro-Atlanta’s colleges and universities.
MindMunch (Georgia Tech/Georgia State): MindMunch is a mobile-first screen time manager that transforms distractions into opportunities for academic and professional growth.
Ordinary Odds (Morehouse): Ordinary Odds is disrupting the traditionally exclusive sneaker and apparel market by creating culturally authentic, accessible products and experiences that empower and financially support creative entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities.
TAPN (Georgia Tech): TAPN is the Southeast’s first in-person event media platform, using patent-pending NFC-enabled, biodegradable badges to power instant connections, real-time analytics, and measurable ROI for events.
TheBucketList, Co. (Spelman): The Bucketlist is an intentional living brand building a full ecosystem that integrates a powerful standalone app with a line of companion books.
WorkforceIQ (Emory): WorkforceIQ is a workforce analytics and financial modeling platform that helps healthcare systems reduce nurse turnover and optimize staffing.
7. Investor of the Year
The “Investor of the Year” Category applauds ecosystem partners, whether an organization or individual, that have made substantial investments in local Atlanta startups over the last 12 months.
8. Mentor of the Year
The “Mentor of the Year” Category honors leaders who have provided exceptional mentorship, contributing significantly to the growth and success of the local Atlanta entrepreneurial ecosystem.
9. Community Builder of the Year
The “Community Builder of the Year” Category recognizes visionary leaders who have made a lasting impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, embodying Startup Atlanta’s core values: Make Connections, Add Value, Give Credit, Partner Freely, Promote Equally, and No Excuses.
